For our TBA members that would like to further their pathway in boxing, we run competitive boxing with our coach Mike Owen.
Mike has had previous experience in the ring and is dedicated to training our boxers three nights a week. He also organises sparring sessions against other clubs, entering competitions around the North Island.
We are very proud of our competitive boxers who competed in the New Zealand Boxing Nationals. Our boxers came up against very fierce competitors, with our team of three taking away a silver medal. Since moving to Youth Central, TBA have run two tournaments, with their third coming up on Saturday 26th August.
